3rd day: flipbook and idea development

On the 3rd day the students started animating a bouncing ball in a flipbook, later we had an idea and concept -development class. By the end of the day we did "doodle-title-summary" and doodle in pairs -excercises.

Course Description

The 2 week course took place at the Art + Design Centre, Kathmandu University, Nepal.

During the course the students were presented to the various aspects of animated film and given the basic tools to go through a production. Topics such as: storytelling, ideas development, concept design, storyboard, animatic, animation, sound and editing were covered.

In the beginning of the course we made a 2 day animation workshop at the KIMFF Int'l Film Festival and by the end of the 2½ weeks3 short animated films had been made.
