11th day: Preparing and start animation

The 11th day was spent on finishing the last things for animation, and getting started under the camera.

At the end of the day we all went to see the exhibition of Sujan Chitrakar, teacher and coordinator at The Centre for Art and Design, Kathmandu University.

Course Description

The 2 week course took place at the Art + Design Centre, Kathmandu University, Nepal.

During the course the students were presented to the various aspects of animated film and given the basic tools to go through a production. Topics such as: storytelling, ideas development, concept design, storyboard, animatic, animation, sound and editing were covered.

In the beginning of the course we made a 2 day animation workshop at the KIMFF Int'l Film Festival and by the end of the 2½ weeks3 short animated films had been made.
